Book 6 of 2019

I will start by saying how much I LOVED this book. However, it didn’t quite start out that way.

Because I ended up being both busy and very tired at the same time, when I first picked up this book, I really struggled to get into. Chapter two had me in floods of tears but then for about five chapters, it seemed like hard work.

Then I realised it was because I wasn’t into reading. I was very tired and didn’t have the energy to take it all in. So, I took a couple days off from it and went back to it feeling a bit more alive.

This time round, I flew through it. I loved everything about it.

Throughout this book I think I felt every emotion going. The sexual tension is a killer. The sexual content is graphic (in a good way), the love, the sadness, the heroism, the hilarity. I cried at the beginning, middle and end. I laughed a lot & I found myself wishing I could find a ‘Michael’ of my very own.

The storyline follows Beth & James who are siblings. Their parents are killed in a car accident so it falls on James and his best friend, Michael to look after a young Beth. They’re also running a family business and trying to avoid trouble from the competition who want to buy them out.

The Family unites but will love conquer all?

Again, I was very lucky to be sent this book by the author/publishers and I am so pleased that Vanessa got in touch with me. I truly enjoyed this book and I think it’s one that can be read and re-read.

On Goodreads I gave this book 4 stars, but really it should be 4.5!!

It is very intense and a quick but enjoyable read. Once you get to the middle of the book, you will fly through it and won’t want to put it down.

I’m excited to read another book by Vanessa once it’s released.

And if anyone knows of a real life Michael, please, send him my way!!! This girl wants to find her hero.

Published by Olympia and currently priced at £8.99 on Amazon.
