Clare and Alice are sisters that were separated when they were really young. Alice was taken by her Dad and forced to move to America whilst Clare stayed with their mum in England.

Alice finally comes back to them and returns home to England and quickly moves in. Her feet are well and truly under the table.

Very quickly, Clare starts to feel that something is wrong. She is constantly feeling both paranoid and jealous. Meanwhile, Alice is clearly a manipulative liar. Clare makes it her mission to uncover the truth.

I’ll be honest, the storyline of Alice is quite easily predictable. HOWEVER, do not let that put you off in any way. The twist at the end is 100% worth waiting for.

I felt that this book was a rollercoaster of emotions and second guessing. It is the first book I have read of Sue’s but I will definitely be reading more. I devoured this book in a day and I will happily recommend to anyone who loves a good psychological thriller.

The book is fantastically written and you will definitely be taken in by all of the characters.

I highly recommend this. So much so, I gave it five HUGE stars on Goodreads.

Published January 2017 by Harper Impulse. It is 364 pages.

Happy Reading xx
