Tori Bailey is a best selling author and self help guru. She has helped thousands of women get their life back on track but is hiding the fact that her own life is far from perfect. Her very own ‘best life’ is a lie.
Her ‘perfect’ boyfriend never touches her and all of her friends around her are getting married or having babies (or both!) and Tori feels like she is doing something wrong.
Her best friend, Dee is her fail safe. Her go to single girl… but on an evening where Dee is Tori’s date to a wedding, Dee falls in love and now suddenly Tori is left feeling very, very alone.
Can she build her relationship back up with her boyfriend and get her life back on the right track?
This book was a four star read for me. I absolutely loved it, but at the same time, I also kinda hated it. By saying that, I don’t mean that I didn’t like the book. It just triggered a lot of personal pain and that, at times, made it a difficult book to read.
I do feel that this book is one that should be read by most women. You either feel like a Tori, or you’re judging a Tori and you need to understand her more.
Stick by your friends, whatever happens in each other’s lives. You need each other and if you don’t quite understand something, maybe give this book a read. The answer might be hidden inside it.
