This book references lots of different movies. Many of which, I haven’t seen, but now want to watch! It is a feel-good style love story which does have some sad parts. I dreamt a lot while reading this book. It took me to the movies in my sleep, not just while reading it.
All of the main characters are so likeable I especially liked the character of Becky. The best friend who sticks by Arden in spite of everything.
I also enjoyed the character, James. He was definitely loveable from the start. Very nervous, a bit stand-off ish but very quickly I was so glad he was there.
I started off wanting the story to end in a certain way but by the time I was three quarters of the way through I had totally changed my mind and I was very happy with the way it did end. (No spoilers!)
You will no doubt laugh and cry while reading this book. I highly recommend it. I gave it four stars on Goodreads and I would love to read more by this author.
Blurb and links are below. Thank you so much to Emma at Damppebbles for allowing me to be a part of this blog tour and for sending me the gorgeous book. It’s one I will be keeping for a long time.
